The Rotary Club of Richmond is proud of its association with  the RichmondSalvation Army. For over twenty years our club has assisted the good work of the Salvation Army by providing bell ringers for the traditional kettle at our year end Holiday season. This year we offer an 'online' option for those who would like to contribute directly. Please access :

Last year, Richmond Area Command assisted more than 55,000 individuals in need. These were people in desperate need of a hot meal, warm bed, encouraging word and/or financial assistance.

All of us at The Salvation Army Richmond Area Command are there to serve those in need without discrimination 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Your monetary contribution to the Online Red Kettle will allow us to help others and to continue Doing the Most Good right here in Central Virginia.

Last year Richmond Area Command served 30,890 individuals through its various Christmas Services Programs alone.  The programs administered by The Salvation Army in Central Virginia include; Angel Tree, Silver Bells, Fox Socks, Holiday Cheer and Gear, Coats for Kids, the WRVA Alden Aaroe Shoe Fund, Toys for Tots, Ukrops Share a Holiday Meal and The Times Dispatch Christmas Mother Program.
